Since joining GMS in 2002, Beth Kohmann has worked as a Sales Representative, Manager of Client Services, Chief Benefits Officer, and is currently the Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining GMS, Beth was a teacher and later worked as a recruiter. As the Chief Operating Officer, Beth oversees and streamlines day-to-day operations, develops strategies to enhance efficiency, and ensures compliance with employment laws. She also collaborates with the CEO on strategic initiatives, leads high-performing teams, and drives client satisfaction and financial performance. Beth graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music.
Beth believes in being direct and authentic with others and holds herself to the same high standards. She strives for excellence in everything she does, whether professionally or as a mom. “I love being able to make a difference and having the opportunity to help build something within this company,” Beth expressed.
Beth currently resides in Medina, Ohio, with her two sons and a chocolate lab. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, music, and sports, and is known for her loud and gregarious personality.
