ATLANTA, Georgia – July 27th, 2022 – Employees located in GMS’ Atlanta office participated in its monthly GMS Cares Event. Volunteers helped at the Urban Recipe Food Bank. This non-profit organization’s mission is to partner with members and supporters in creating food security, building community, and providing a platform for personal development while affirming dignity. GMS employees helped organize the correct number of empty boxes, brought food into the distribution room, sorted and organized the food into categories, portioned out bulk items, and distributed all the food into boxes equitably and according to family size.
