RICHFIELD, Ohio – June 1st, 2023 – GMS is pleased to announce the promotion of Joe Wenger, PHR, to HR Manager. Joe started his tenure at GMS in 2014 as an HR Intern. From there, he transitioned into the HR Assistant, then became the company’s Human Resources Generalist. Most recently, he served as Senior Human Resources Generalist.
Joe expressed, “This means a lot to me personally, but it ultimately speaks to the overall growth of GMS, and it’s exciting to see what future opportunities will open up for others as we can continue to expand. I will maintain most of what I was already overseeing but will now work more directly with the sales recruiting team in an official capacity. I’d also like to thank and recognize our Director of HR Lisa Dassani, for her leadership and for helping make this happen.”
