GMS Cares Volunteers Support House of Hope Kansas City

Kansas City, Missouri – April 10, 2025 — Employees from GMS’ Kansas City office dedicated their time and efforts to supporting House of Hope. House of Hope Kansas City is a Christian-based nonprofit organization with a two-fold mission: a comprehensive residential treatment program for hurting teens and a Family Counseling Center that serves teenage boys and girls and their families. During the event, the GMS team joined other volunteers to tidy up and paint rooms on campus.

About House of Hope

Affiliated with the National House of Hope, their licensed residential group home for teens aged 13 to 17 offers a comprehensive support system. They provide an onsite school accredited through Kansas Connections Academy and intentional parent support from trained social workers. Throughout the program, their residents experience the transformative power of love and are equipped with tools to overcome negative influences and past trauma, rebuilding relationships with their parents.
