About Greater Cleveland Food Bank

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is the largest hunger relief organization in northeast Ohio, serving over 400,000 people across six counties in fiscal year (FY) 2023. They address food insecurity through food distribution and supplemental nutrition assistance program (SNAP) outreach, operating a community food distribution center that provided nearly 52 million pounds of food in FY 2023. Additionally, they prepare meals in their kitchen and assist low-income individuals with public benefits applications. They also connect clients to other nonprofits to tackle the root causes of food insecurity, such as housing, health care, and employment.

Even if you’re not in northeast Ohio, you can support their efforts by donating to Greater Cleveland Food Bank or volunteering and helping them continue to make a positive impact on the community and those in need.

About GMS Cares: GMS Cares is GMS’ philanthropic program that seeks to give back to the communities in which we serve. The program is dedicated to providing meaningful work and spreading compassion through volunteer efforts.
