Volunteers From GMS’ Chicago Team Give Back To Community

CHICAGO, Illinois – November 30th, 2022 – Group Management Services employees volunteered at Bernie’s Book Bank. They partook in a handful of activities, some of which included bagging books for children, scanning barcodes on the books to ensure they were placed in the correct grade level, and weeding out books that did not meet the organization’s standards.

Bernie’s Book Bank sources, processes, and distributes quality new and gently used children’s books to significantly increase book ownership among under-served infants, toddlers, and school-aged children throughout Chicago. It’s the leading provider of quality books to under-served children in the Chicagoland area. 22-million books and counting have been distributed by Bernie’s Book Bank since 2009.
