ATLANTA, Georgia – December 14th, 2023 – GMS’ Atlanta, Georgia office volunteered with Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse. This organization provides shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene products, and more to children in the community. GMS volunteers spent the day sorting through shoeboxes and getting them ready to be shipped to children.
About Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Since 1993, more than 209 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox.
