PHOENIX, Arizona – June 27th, 2023 – Volunteers from GMS’ Phoenix, Arizona office spent their day turning hunger into hope by packing nutritious meals for hungry children around the world for Feed My Starving Children. They packed rice, soy, dried vegetables, and more into bags before boxing them and sending them off.
About Feed My Starving Children
Every year, millions of children die from preventable causes such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria, and undernutrition. Hunger is still causing nearly half of the deaths in children under five years old. Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) believes hope starts with food. As a Christian nonprofit, FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. They work with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development.
